When storms occur such as the one we in Connecticut are dealing with now, do we see hard times, loss, and fear?ย Do we feel sorry for ourselves and cry out woh is me? ย ย Or, do we see a time to strengthen our resolve, have patience and give love?
I know itโs tough when youโve been without electricity for ten plus day and Iโm sure I wouldnโt be happy if I was in that situation.ย We must keep calm and realize someone gets to be first and others have to be last.ย Thankfully, crews are out working, even if we havenโt seen them and there is no way to properly estimate how much damage there is that needs fixing nor how long that will take.
Letโs be thankful for the modern amenity of electricity.ย I was talking with my grand mother and she remembers not having electricity when she was a young girl.ย She remembers reading by candle and washing her clothes on a board.ย We forget that folks actually did that thanks to modern amenities like electricity.
Itโs no different with Chiropractic.ย Healing takes time and it is happening.ย Thankfully our brains and innate power flowing through our nerve system do know. All we have to do is remove the interference to the communication with an adjustment and allow ourselves the time necessary to heal.ย Itโs like removing the tree from the power line, then the line needs to be restored and connected to the grid.
Those who have gone before you and stuck it out will attest that healing does happenโฆ. Just as I will attest that the electricity is coming back.
Hang in there and if you need anything, give us a call.
PS. I’d like to thank Pastor Jay Abrahmson for today’s title.
