We provide three types of care in the office which all flow in phases.ย Phase one is relief, phase two is correction, phase three is wellness.ย What’s the difference between them?
Phase 1: Relief
In this phase we create a plan for you to feel better.ย There are as many ways to go about this phase as there are doctors on the planet.ย Our approach is high visit frequency, short visit duration, low fee.ย We’ve always found it easier on scheduling.ย It allows for successful care while maintaining your lifestyle.
During this phase were giving you things to do at home and teaching you principles of healing.ย This is different from masking your issues with symptom relief.ย Healing is a process and each step in that process needs to occur for you to heal.ย If you move through the process too quickly or skip steps, you won’t get the results or you’ll return to step one and begin all over again.
Phase 2: Correction
In this phase we are applying Adjusting technique(s) to change the curves in your spine and release nerve system tension.ย By this point, your Tytron nerve test is (often) clear.ย I say often because some people clear more gradually while most clear quickly.ย Time and repetition matter in this phase.ย This is where we make improvements to early arthritic changes. We’ll drop some tidbits about Chiropractic, life, and health for you to ponder.ย lifestyle changes take root here.ย Nurture them and they’ll grow.ย Try doing too much too soon and your mind and body will reject them.ย We’re not just correcting alignment but thought and processing as well.ย Hard truths are accepted for the facts they are during this time.ย By the end of this phase, patients are often all new people on a micro (cellular) and macro (body, mind) level.
Phase 3: Wellness
This phase is purely optional and those who continue are thankful they did so.ย Here your weekly adjustments continue through out life.ย They’ll last as long as you want.ย Even if you or I move away, you’ll find a good Chiropractor to adjust you.ย This is where we hear from people they don’t get sick any more or if they do, it’s a couple of days as opposed to a week or more.ย The adjustments help your nerve system remain strong and alert.ย Wellness care helps prevent regression and keeps our vision to the future and constant, consistent improvement.
