I practice Chiropractic in a principled manner because I’ve always known there is more to this world than meets the eye.ย It is more than just a physical world.ย There have been times in my life when I’ve had to look inside and make some hard decisions to step up or shrink down.ย Each time I step up, I find it tough and challenging but it is so worth it.
The same is true in practice.ย When I learned about Chiropractic at 19 years old, I was introduced to the modern techniques and modalities.ย Then I did my own research and had a teacher show me that “other stuff” isn’t needed.ย I was blown away by the results.ย How can something so simple be so profound?ย But that is the nature of life.
I’m a moral person who beats themselves up when I do something wrong or bad.ย Given that, I couldn’t go into practice doing anything other than Principled Chiropractic.ย To be honest, I don’t like calling it “Principled” Chiropractic.ย It’s truly Chiropractic.ย Everything else has gone off the rails.
That doesn’t make me perfect.ย I struggle with expressing myself.ย Sure, I can stand in front of a group and speak my truth, empowering people, and inspiring them.ย But I’m a listener at heart.ย That’s why at the table, I listen and engage in small talk.ย The Chiropractic principle is so profound that making it simple challenges me.ย How do I make something with such magnitude and depth easy to understand and I stumble over my words?
That’s why adjusting time is sacred time. I don’t want to muck up the connection at the adjustment with foolish words.ย It’s also why I write because I can organize my thoughts and deliver them in a passionate way.ย There is waaaaay toooooo much to attempt to communicate during an adjustment.
So why do I practice this way?ย Because of the enormity, depth, and simplicity of it all.ย I practice this way because I know that its the right way and best way to practice and anything else would be demeaning to you, me, and the practice of Chiropractic.
