There are indicators that help us as human beingsย determine if someone is a good person.ย Same goes for quality decisions.ย Trusting in these senses, our instincts, is the key.
Last summer, my daughter and her friend went to meet up with a group of kids my wife and I didn’t know.ย When we arrived, the boy whom invited her kept back, head down at his phone, and when asked by name, just grunted.ย His friend however, came right up to me, introduced himself, told me where he lived, looked me in the eye, shook my hand, and introduced the rest.ย Who do you think we trusted more, teh boy she was talking to or his friend?
The world would have you trust yourself and your own thinking rather than your God given talents.ย This includes your health and well-being.ย When you stop and think about it, if you had to consciously tell your heart to beat sixty times per minute, could you do it?ย While at that, keep your lungs breathing twelve times every minute.ย And tell yourself to digest food, and heal that cut on the back of your hand.ย Thankfully we have innate functions that we don’t have to think about.ย WE KNOW they’re there, we don’t need to prove it to ourselves.ย They happen without us thinking about it.
Let’s all be thankful and appreciative of our innate, God given talents.ย Let’s trust them with our health and our ability to fight off infections, the same way we trust them when meeting a new person.
