You know what’s been the talk of the office lately?ย Corona virus, AKA: Covid-19.ย The talk has been about how virulent it’s been, the possibility of canceling the 2020 Summer Olympics, and how many people are dying from “this deadly virus.”ย As of the time of this writing a whole 6 people in CT have died from it.ย But rather than coming from a place of fear, I want all of us to come from a place of enlightenment, joy, and preparation.
Our family is renegotiating our budget.ย Part of our negotiation is the character building side of the budget.ย As we go through this pro-cess our intention is teaching them life skills and integrity.ย Our focus is on how family budget meetings will bring us closer together. working towards a common future which we are planning rather than reacting to.ย We are showing them our actual bills and how Eversource increased their fee on January 1, 2020 and the result that had on our family.
Our conclusion will be about spiritual strength and how God expressly states to be diligent in financial matters.ย That those who are diligent are rewarded.ย ย ย Part of the conversation is about how limits are good for us because it prevents us from going overboard. Also the importance of living a life of humility.ย Then we’ll give thanks.ย ย ย When we came together the first time, the feeling was “Do we have to?” But I suspect as we continue doing this, that sentiment will change and turn into “this is good.”
Did you know that the Coronavirus has a 97.5% survival rate?ย And that it is susceptible to Vitamin C?ย And that those with proper levels of Vitamin D are less likely to contract it?ย The best way to combat the fear mongers in media and government is with proper preparation.ย Pick up some Vitamin C and D at your local health food store and you’ll be ready.
Love you all,
Dr. B
