Change is one of the constants in life.ย Along with death and taxes, change is assured.ย How we react to the change around us determines our success.
When you encounter change, do you respond with anxiety, fear or trepidation?ย These are common, in the moment reactions.ย The question is, do you allow them to persist?ย Or do you gain control of your mind and overcome these sensations.
Such feelings are controlling feelings, as in they control us.ย We can and must learn to control them.ย Have courage and faith.ย Then work hard to and find support to overcome your mind.ย Being in a state of peace is paramount.
What did you do when the pandemic began?ย Did you believe or wait for statistics?ย Did you freak out or blow your mind?ย Did you accept and adapt?
What will you do when it is announced “it’s safe to go outside now”?ย Will you believe or wait?ย Will you blow your mind in fear?ย Or, will you accept and adapt?ย If so, why not begin the process of preparing your mind now and get ahead of the curve….
This week I encourage you to exercise your state of being by repeating to yourself, either quietly or preferable aloud, the phrase, “I can, I will, I must.”ย Do seven sets of seven repetitions.ย Next week, we’ll add another step.ย And the following week a third step for a complete affirmative process.
Yours in Health,
Dr. Nardi
