I’m not going to lie; this weeks’ post isn’t for those with a weak stomach. If are willing to laugh some, and be honest with yourself, you’ll see there is a point to all of it….
When I was in high school, our school library put out a weekly student poll. My buddy being the wise guy he was asked “Do you load your toilet paper forwards (pull down) or backwards (pull up)?” This led to the inevitable discussion among our team mates whether you wiped front to back or back to front. Guys will be guys….
In college I had a roommate with a pilonidal cyst. It comes from having an ingrown hair that bursts, especially when wiping front to back. Its prominent if you have extra cheeks on your cheeks. If you’ve ever watched an old war movie and saw guys sitting in their helmets filled with water, they’re treating their cysts. The obvious solution here is better hygiene. In fact, my buddy said, “Doc told me to improve my hygiene by wiping back to front.” So, we all learned a lesson from him.
Well, a year or two later, in Chiropractic College, I learned when guys clean back to front later in life, they can end up with prostate infections. The medical solution is antibiotics. The “alternative” or “natural” solution is a “sitz” bath, otherwise known as an Epson salt bath… like the GIs did. Guess what we were told to do in school? …. Wipe front to back to prevent this.
You see the obvious implications here….
For BEST hygiene, maybe we should all just dab.
Let’s get to the point here….
Ever notice how science often presents conflicting “facts” and “research?”
For those who think to attack my Christian faith, yes, the Bible also presents conflicting information at times….
When you read enough, you’ll see this often. Scientists, experts, fact checkers differ in their assessments and facts. It’s all situational. Once you learn the agenda, you’ll know the situation and therefore why the information is presented as fact in the moment. It doesn’t make opposing facts wrong or untrue. They’re only unsupportive of the situation.
The way we KNOW is to be clear. Stop thinking, clear your mind and the truth will reveal itself. What comes across will be what’s right for you in your life. It’s nobody else’s business but your own.
