You know what always makes people happy on a cold day? Hot Cocoa. The heat from the cup heats the hands. Steam pouring out of the top opens up the sinuses and lungs. And the taste of chocolate to warm the heart. Its brings a smile to my face just thinking about it.
Imagine if everyone on earth was forced to live in a cold weather climate all year round. The stress level would be pretty high for most folks. I think anger would run rampant. I mean how happy are you if you have to shovel your driveway every day before leaving the house? Motor vehicle accidents increase, sledding and skiing injuries. And the worst of it, is when the boogers freeze in your nose…. That’s just downright uncomfortable…. you make that face like you’re a contortionist trying to loosen it up. Ughhhhh!
Enter hot cocoa….
Ever give an angry person a cup of cocoa? Their anger turns to joy in a heart beat. What do most people have when coming in from a snowstorm? Hot cocoa. Your spouse calls on the way home from work and has obviously had a bad day…. give them a hot cocoa and watch them fa-get-abou-it.
Yes, hot cocoa can change the world. So bring a cup to your neighbor. Give a cup to your in-laws. Send a cup to all the world leaders you can think of. And don’t forget to leave one out for Santa.
