| From Simple Truth |
As I was driving into the office this morning I watched the streams and brooks along the road. The waters were flowing steadily and at points were very rapid. On two occasions, it appeared the homeowners tried to control the flood and divert the water away from their house. But nature has a way of overcoming man’s best efforts…
Once released, flood waters are unstoppable. They have the power to move mountains and rocks, up-root trees and houses, and take with it anything in its path. Very often we try to divert the path of a flood but flood waters go where they want to go, do what they want to do. Flood waters have the power to change landscapes and dig deep into the earth.
It made me realize that LIFE is EXACTLY the same.
LIFE is what happens when we let go and let INNATE flood our lives. Innate has the power to move mountains, lift heavy objects, and love unconditionally. Innate fills our depths with powerful inner resources. All too often we get involved and attempt to control and divert Innate with stuff. When we drop the control and diversions and just allow Innate to flow like steady and rapid waters our lives change and improve.
