Today we are going to look at how the law of demand and supply works in the body. When a business isnโt keeping up with demand, it increases production to meet the demand or the business goes under. When there is more supply than demand business backs off production to not over tax workers, supply or profit lines. ALL of your bodyโs systems work the same way. Let me explain โฆ
Letโs take the concept of demand meeting supply for the purpose of an infection. The body produces enough immune cells to eliminate the infection. Once it has enough, it stops production. When the level of immune cells gets too low, it increases production to again meet the demand. Once the infection is fully handled, production returns to โnormal.โ
In the body, medication interferes with the supply production. Think about our infection example above. The body produces immune cells to ward off an infection. When antibiotics are introduced to โhelpโ fight the infection, the body senses the additional supply and inhibits production of the bodyโs own immune cells because the demand has been met (by the antibiotic).
This is what happens when clear (non-subluxated) people stay on their medication. The medication does the work of the body interfering with the supply. So what do you do to re-engage the bodyโs own production? Remove the interference; in this case, the medication.
Chiropractic removes interference from the body. It is your choice to trust your bodyโs production or the medication. If you choose to continue the meds, how long before your doctor takes you off of them? Thatโs how long youโll wait for your body to increase its own production. Also, as long as you have residual medication inside of you, your body wonโt achieve full production. Live clear. Live free of interference.
Do you have more faith in the pill, potion, or lotion, or the power that made the body?
