Last month one of our practice members was riding her bike with her family.ย She fell and was stabbed in the gut by her handle-bar.ย After going to the pediatrician and being discharged, he continued hurting.ย Mom decided to bring her to the ER and it was discovered that she ruptured her pancreas.ย After the examination, the surgeon said she would do her best to save as much of the pancreas as possible, but 50% was realistic, maybe 80% on the high side.ย Thankfully, the surgeon was able to save her and her whole pancreas.ย
Now… Her parents were told she would be in the ICU for a minimum of two weeks and a month in the hospital.ย We went in on day two and adjusted her because she was subluxated.ย Five minutes later her fever broke and she was upgraded two days later and removed from the ICU.ย The MDs know this stuff, they live it every day of their life.ย What changed?ย What was different which allowed this child to beat the odds faster?
I believe that I deserve the freedom to choose how I live my life, especially when it comes to my health.ย I believe in telling the truth and being factual in real time while at the same time I choose to believe in hope when science and statistics tell me their is none.ย I believe more in my God-given potential than all of the learned knowledge that man can print in books.
Do you agree?ย Do you know others who also agree?ย We’d love to meet those other people because they would love Nardi Family Chiropractic.ย Please direct them our way.
