I tend to be someone who likes order and organization. ย I’m not much for chaos.
I’m the guy who is always on time or early. ย Tardiness is unacceptable and irritates me.
Everything has a place. ย And everything is in it’s place.
I keep the house tidy and clean. ย Even if it means something every day.
I’m not a fan of casseroles. ย When I eat, I should have one of those compartment plates, meat in one compartment, veggies in another, rice in the third.
But life is messy. ย People are different. ย Patients present with multiple issues and don’t always understand. ย They want it all now. ย Funny thing is, i’m like that to. ย Aren’t you?
So life is messy. ย I “Rob Peter to pay Paul.” ย I realize every decision Iย make affects someone else, sometimes in a negative way. ย Hopefully not, but that’s life…. sometimes it’s messy.
When life get’s messy, I want to instantly clean it up. ย That’s not always possible. ย Sometimes it takes time to clean up the mess. ย It can take months, even years or decades to clean up some messes. ย Especially when other people are involved. ย We think differently, act differently, relate differently. ย We see things differently, hear things differently, rationalize differently. ย Even people of like circumstances and interests will relate differently.
This is why I need to sit down, talk and listen. ย It’s why I need to learn about and express myself better. ย What makes me tick? ย That way others will relate to me better and I them also. ย Once I know myself, then I can begin to learn about others.
