Along with Death and Taxes, the only guarantee in life is CHANGE. It’s been said the only person who likes change is an infant with a dirty diaper. It’s a good thing adults can have a more rational position than an infant! Let’s look at a couple of guaranteed changes before 2030.
On Wednesday, we will induct a new President. Before 2030, it WILL happen again. Some praise a new president, others live in fear. How BIG is your leader? The president may be our country’s leader, but God is a bigger leader. Look past the small and move onto the the largest known. One thing I’ve learned about change is like God, it’s guaranteed.
Another guaranteed change in life is finances. Look at where you were ten years ago. Are you in the same financial place? If I had to drill a new well ten years ago, it would have sunk us. Last week, we kept on keeping on. In a few months we start paying for college. Plenty before me have and it changes things. It’s not better or worse, just different.
The times are changing and change is inevitable. How will we handle the change of today? We will pray, we will adapt, and we will grow. Growth is another example of change. Always be in growth mode.
