Last week, we discussed certainty and how it comes from within. This week weโll discuss application of that certainty.
To be honest, itโs easy, when you are certain, act, when you arenโt certain, donโt. My wife and I have friends in another state who arenโt sure if they should vaccinate their child. She has tons of research favoring and against vaccination. She has heard both sides from friends and family members. Her pediatrician says vaccinate, when they ask us, we say do not vaccinate. Here is an illustration of what we said last week about having too much information. Sooner or later, they have to make a decision. What would you do?
Weโre all going to formulate our opinions on the above paragraph, some favoring vaccination, some opposing. How you base that opinion is what matters. The correct answer is that you do what you are certain of. You get certainty from within. Certainty is specific to you. If you are not certain of what to do, you wait until you are certain of what to do. Are you certain that vaccination is helpful without harm? Are you certain that not vaccinating is helpful without harming?
Another example is that we never adjust without being certain that you need an adjustment. If we adjust you without certainty we can be moving a subluxation free bone into a subluxated position. That would cause your body to malfunction by interfering with your innate intelligence, which is in direct contradiction with the principles of Chiropractic. We only adjust with certainty that it is needed and that it is the right adjustment at the right time.
Moving forward in your life be certain in all you do. Practice taking actions with certainty. When you are not certain itโs ok to hesitate and wait for that certainty. BJ Palmer once said, โWhen innate says move, move with the power of the universe behind you, when innate says stay your hand, stay your hand.โ
