Nardi Family Chiropractic open in July of 2002, seven months after graduation from New York Chiropractic College. We set out with a vision to change the way people thought of Chiropractic. Our purpose was help others realize there is more to Chiropractic than relieving back and neck pain.
As the health of our town and state improved one spine at a time we began working on our service to others. We developed the 6 C’s:
The adjustment and the many techniques of adjusting have always fascinated me. They all work for improving the health and well-being of the body by removing nerve interference and helping you find your flow. But which technique works for which person? I have found that while all techniques work, individuals may respond better and faster to one technique versus another. Some prefer a classic adjustive thrust. Such people want to “know they were adjusted.” Others prefer a softer, gentler adjustment and their spines and bodies respond to the lighter touch. Part of our job is not only providing you what you want, but also learning what your body responds to best.
I’ve never been much for “my way or the highway.” I just don’t respond well to that style of Doctoring. I prefer to be taught and allowed to make up my own mind. In fact over the years, I’ve learned that people are just like me, they prefer to make their own decisions. I’m certainly no zen guru, I have much to learn and grow with. I am thankful for the improvements Chiropractic has helped me with personally over the years.
My favorite part of practice is seeing that light bulb go on for the first time when our patients “get it” that getting checked regularly for the entirety of their life is as important as breathing and eating. These folks ALWAYS turn out to become the healthiest people on the planet. Thankfully, folks are learning this lesson more and more often now-a-days and they save so much in the way of time, suffering, and money by utilizing Chiropractic as their Foundation of Health. In turn, together we have built a healthier community through healthier lives. We owe our practice to those who have heard the message, taken it to heart, and spread it throughout the community.
That’s another piece of practice that I love. Watching people help people. Seeing our members get involved in the lives of their loved ones and their community to make it a better place to live. Whether its your community or your body the more you get involved with it, the better it works.
Thank you for all of your help and referring in your family and friends. We appreciate you.
