Back in June, the alternator on my daughter’s car failed. She was driving me into the office and about a mile or two from our house, the whole car shut down. She learned a valuable lesson on how to keep calm, call AAA, and find help from others to get to work.
That’s the important piece here. None of us can do it alone. We all need others. Between the tow truck driver, our mechanic and the neighbor we called for a ride, we needed to rely on others. This lesson applies to studying for school, working with teams, and running a house in the modern world.
Be thankful for those around you. Tell them how much you appreciate them.
